Moving to Albuquerque, NM
Last day cutting in Seattle was October 19. New Mexico or bust now.
These goodbyes have been hell I tell ya!!! I have been taking care of people in Seattle since the mid 90’s.
It’s time for me to return to my hometown of Albuquerque. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and being inspired by the beauty of New Mexico!
Seattles low-toxin salon for those that are sensitive to chemicals.
The world is changing and many of us are looking for more natural solutions. We’re becoming chemically conscious and are increasingly concerned about the amounts of harsh chemicals used in everyday cosmetics and haircare products. Pregnancy, illness and skin sensitivity has also led many consumers to seek out products with a lower chemical compound.
We are one of the first hair brands to produce low-toxin professional grade ammonia, resorcinol and PPD free permanent hair color making it gentle on hair, scalp and hands. But what are these chemicals and how can they be harmful?
At the heart of O&M is our proprietary CCT™ Clean Color Technology.
We believe that no client should be exposed to unnecessary chemicals and
no hairdresser should have to constantly work with them.

Stylist and Owner
Eric’s interest in hair and beauty started early. Back in the 70s he was braiding hair on the playground. During the 80s he played with patterns of color and three dimensional styles on willing friends. Knowing he was hooked, he attended beauty school in Albuquerque from 1987-1989. He assisted one of Albuquerque’s best known artists and learned the French Methodology of cutting hair. He then worked for a few years before moving to Seattle. Once here, he spent sixteen years working with two of the most prestigious salons in Seattle.
Always looking to enhance his skills and knowledge, Eric has studied with Ruth Roche, Beth Minardi, Teri Dougherty, and James Morrison. He has spent countless hours with a host of well-known companies and is proficient in the use of a wide range of styling and hair care products.
He is great at interpreting a client’s sense of style, and then applying it in balanced and tasteful manner to complement the nature of the hair type. He is the driving force behind creating a low-toxin salon environment.
“I’m a good story teller and an excellent listener which is almost as important to the client-hairdresser relationship as the skills brought to the chair. And yes, I have those too!”
